Join us as we help people all over the world thrive at work. Summary: Manage the tools used in production by storing, cleaning, and putting away. Manage a system for identifying where the tools are located and ready for use. Tools will be obsoleted and removed as needed as more tools are added. Provide production teams have the necessary tools and tool fixtures. Will perform tracking, auditing, and organizing tools, dies, and fixtures. Tools are clearly labeled and updated in the tool tracking system and in good order. Pull tools as needed to be stress relieved and cleaned. Understand assembly and maintenance of tools.

Requirements

  • Follow all company safety rules and procedures, including PPE and 5S
  • Exposure to equipment such as Fanuc wireEDM, Centroid CNC high speed spindle.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including positive attitude, self-motivator, contributes to a team environment and personal accountability
  • Builds strong relationships

  • Microsoft or Mac operating systems
  • Entry level position
  • CNC production equipment exposure and operations
  • Office and Hands-on within a Production Facility
  • Be able to lift 15-20 pounds
  • Standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Data entry of tools in system
  • Manage the tool inventory levels and the duplicates
  • Understands tool location and system
  • Stress relieve tools
  • Maintenance preventive by cleaning or replacing components
  • Assist with minor repairs
  • Apply continuous improvement
  • Manages a clean and safe tool system
  • Prepare tools for production
  • Ensure labels are legible and clean
  • Cleans and inspects tools as needed
  • Enter any quality issues in data system for repair
  • Participate in goal setting with the team
  • Collaborate on needed improvements
  • Update request tickets as needed for tracking system
  • Organized for tracking and storing
  • Recycle tools as needed in 50 gallon drum
