We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Celgard where we develop and manufacture membrane battery separators that are critical components used in lithium-ion batteries for electric drive vehicles (EDVs) and energy storage systems (ESS). Responsibilities
- Create and update training materials to support production in new equipment use, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
- Facilitate interactive training sessions using diverse instructional methods for both new and current employees.
- Evaluate team members' abilities and needs to tailor effective, targeted training.
- Keep accurate training records and generate reports on performance and improvement areas, including JSAs, SOPs, and other production related documents.
- Regularly refine training content and methods to align with evolving standards and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align training with operational goals and address workforce needs.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required training documentation.
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred or high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 5+ years' proven experience in training design, development, and delivery in manufacturing or an educational environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during start up to support training and business needs.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals at various levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, LMS and other relevant training software/tools.
- Strong knowledge of production processes.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage learners and deliver content effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaboration mindset.
- Attention to detail with a focus on compliance.
