We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Celgard where we develop and manufacture membrane battery separators that are critical components used in lithium-ion batteries for electric drive vehicles (EDVs) and energy storage systems (ESS). Responsibilities

  • Create and update training materials to support production in new equipment use, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions using diverse instructional methods for both new and current employees.
  • Evaluate team members' abilities and needs to tailor effective, targeted training.
  • Keep accurate training records and generate reports on performance and improvement areas, including JSAs, SOPs, and other production related documents.
  • Regularly refine training content and methods to align with evolving standards and best practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align training with operational goals and address workforce needs.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required training documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred or high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 5+ years' proven experience in training design, development, and delivery in manufacturing or an educational environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during start up to support training and business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals at various levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, LMS and other relevant training software/tools.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage learners and deliver content effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaboration mindset.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on compliance.

  • Relevant work experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with fast paced & multi-task work environment.
  • Must demonstrate executive maturity, be collaborative, and work well with others.
  • Must be able to execute against agreed upon commitments, providing solutions and timely results.
