About The Position

Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Production Worker is accountable for continuous product throughput, will inform management of the results from the production unit’s operations, pointing out problem areas and advising on the best solutions.

Work closely with other operators in production unitPerform various packaging, cleaning, sampling, and material transfer tasksStrive for zero defect and optimum unit throughputCoordinates with Supervisor to meet departmental budget

Requirements

• Have a strong commitment to safety
• Be able to communicate well with other members of the team
• Be able to work in a plant environment and be able to walk up and down stairs and ladders
• Have the ability to troubleshoot
• Be well organized, detail oriented, and have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other operators in production unit
