About The Position

TRCC is headquartered in the heart of Northwest Georgia and has grown from its roots as a latex supplier to the tufted carpet industry into a global leader in advanced chemical solutions, with a footprint that spans every continent. We are currently hiring for a Production Worker in our VO Bottling plant who is responsible for working in a factory and preparing items for distribution. The requirements for a production worker involve preparing and checking products, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the packaging and shipment of items. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Employee must pass a fitness for duty test, drug screen and submit to a TB test on a post offer employment physical. Work is performed on site. Remote work is not available for this position. Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. Ensure production requirements and standards are met consistently. Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping for product shipment. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management. Assist of setup and cleanup of bottling line. Preforms cleaning operations as directed. Follow all written and verbal instructions. Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements

Able to read/write English
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work safely.
High School Diploma, preferred.
Prolonged periods of standing on a concrete floor while working at assigned position on the production line.
Ability to work in an uncontrolled environmental setting where temperatures can be extremely cold, hot or humid depending on the outside temperature.
Work in an environment where there are unexpected, sudden loud noises, beeping backup alarms, flashing lights and sudden movements
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times by lifting, pulling or pushing.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds by reaching above the shoulders.
