About The Position

Operates and monitors injection molding or extrusion machinery to manufacture plastic products, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. Key duties include loading materials, inspecting finished parts, performing minor troubleshooting, and packing goods, often working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and adherence to 5S and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor plastic processing machinery (e.g., molding, extrusion) and manage tool changes.
• Quality Control: Perform on-line inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications, minimizing rejections and defects.
• Production Targets: Maintain consistent work pace to meet production targets, planning, and scheduling goals.
• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to 5S and safety protocols, keep the work area clean, and perform minor machine maintenance in the absence of superiors.
• Material Handling: Load raw materials into hoppers, manage materials on the shop floor, and prepare products for shipping.
