The Productivity Integration Operations Leader serves within the P&SM Direct Procurement Cost-Collaboration Team to operationalize supplier productivity and value-creation initiatives across commodities. The role translates enterprise strategy into execution through disciplined operating rhythms, shared metrics, and cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Supply Chain Quality, Finance, and Commodity Management. The leader enables commodity teams and key suppliers to deliver validated cost savings and total cost-of-ownership improvements without compromising safety or quality. You will establish and run the operating system (cadence, dashboards, governance) for the Cost-Collaboration portfolio—driving transparent execution from idea through financial validation and sustainment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing/Operations, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years in industrial/manufacturing/operations/supply chain or military procurement/logistics environment
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational integrator for the Cost-Collaboration portfolio across Direct Procurement commodities
  • Define, deploy, and sustain standardized metrics, dashboards, and execution cadences aligned to SQDC and annual productivity targets
  • Run a dedicated Productivity weekly operating review (WOR) and cross-functional huddles to drive decisions, problem solve, and ensure on-time milestones
  • Partner with Finance to validate savings and ensure tie-out, timing, and sustainability tracking
  • Orchestrate supplier-focused value levers: design-to-cost with Engineering, should-cost and commercial levers with Commodity Managers, and manufacturing/process improvements with Quality and suppliers
  • Drive visibility to on-time execution of supplier source changes, onboarding, qualification, and with Commodity teams, Quality, and Engineering
  • Drive pipeline health: ideation, feasibility and execution, with focus on flow into execution and on-time delivery of execution milestones
  • Align Commodity Managers, Engineering, QUALITY, and Finance around shared priorities, stage gates, and SLAs
  • Maintain a single source of truth for the direct-procurement productivity portfolio (status, risks, actions, financials)
  • Surface risks early, facilitate corrective actions, and escalate decisively to protect schedule and quality
  • Apply FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model, to improve operational performance via process improvements
  • Lead structured problem-solving aging WIP and high-impact blockers
  • Standardize playbooks, templates, and visual management to improve predictability and throughput
  • Provide concise, data-driven updates to leaders and stakeholders
  • Drive accountability through owner-based actions, dated commitments, and transparent metrics
  • Ensure changes preserve safety and quality, while delivering measurable delivery and cost improvements
