We are currently seeking a Professional Development and Integration Coordinator to help drive meaningful professional development and integration efforts for attorneys that strengthen collaboration, engagement, and long-term success across the firm. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented, collaborative professional who brings strong organizational and communication skills and is motivated by supporting attorney professional development and integration in a fast‑paced, professional services environment. This position can be based in Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; or Louisville, KY.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience; experience in a professional services environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfort learning and using new technology platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the firm.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to follow established processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Ability to use video-conferencing, virtual event technology, and related technology to support in-person, virtual and hybrid programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate projects, troubleshoot issues, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, service‑oriented approach to supporting attorneys and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed across the firm’s national footprint. Travel time estimates are minimal (5%).

Responsibilities

  • Support the Professional Development team, practice group leaders and firm management in implementing programs aligned with the firm’s core competencies and benchmarks.
  • Coordinate the logistics of training programs, including program announcements and marketing, RSVP tracking, room reservations, food and refreshments orders, room set-up and technology needs.
  • Collect and organize evaluations for training, mentoring, and other professional development programs to support analysis of the effectiveness of each program.
  • Track and update internal training statistics and other related metrics.
  • Maintain the attorney training resource library on the firm’s intranet.
  • Support integration and engagement initiatives, including mentoring, integration programs, road shows, and engagement programs, by coordinating logistics and tracking participation.
  • Coordinate and provide logistical support for large-scale programs and retreats, including on-site support when needed.
  • Support lateral partner and lateral associate integration by monitoring integration software, sending reminders, and assisting with coordinating logistics for road shows.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records related to training programs, integration activities, participation, and evaluations.
  • Submit and reconcile program‑related expenses and corporate credit card charges, and support annual budget planning by monitoring expenses against budget.
