Job Summary B&A is seeking a Program Acquisition Manager to lead IT acquisition efforts by overseeing lifecycle processes, tracking milestones, and ensuring efficient coordination between stakeholders. This role focuses on improving acquisition operations, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting the Government Program Manager in delivering timely and compliant acquisition outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management supporting ACAT and/or non-ACAT programs
  • Experience working within the IT acquisition lifecycle and managing milestone-driven efforts
  • Background in reviewing and analyzing acquisition and program documentation
  • Strong understanding of IT acquisition processes and lifecycle management
  • Ability to manage timelines, milestones, and competing priorities
  • Experience analyzing acquisition documentation and identifying gaps or risks
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Effective collaboration and communication with government and technical stakeholders
  • Process improvement mindset with attention to accuracy and efficiency
  • Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate IT acquisition process activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage acquisition lifecycle phases, ensuring milestones are met on schedule
  • Track and oversee acquisition data, inputs, and documentation from customers and technical teams
  • Review and analyze acquisition materials to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Identify risks, discrepancies, and resource gaps, and communicate them to leadership
  • Collaborate with the Government Program Manager to streamline processes and improve execution
  • Ensure timely and accurate transmission of information for review and decision-making
