In this position, you will work independently and consult with the Department Manager and Program Director to coordinate the Early Childhood Education Program (ECE), ECE students, ECE faculty and operations of the department office. You will be the first point-of-contact for people calling, emailing, and visiting the department. You must be able to employ excellent organizational skills, be attentive to detail, and prioritize multiple tasks. You should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment often dealing with sensitive and confidential information. This is a 9 month, 25 hour/week position. Position is based on-site and in-person at the Bellingham main campus. Additional evening work will be required on occasion to support program events, as well occasional travel to Woodring outreach sites and regional colleges for meetings and recruitment events.
