Coordinates, monitors, develops and implements projects and/or initiatives for Injury Prevention Program Coordinates and monitors program activities to ensure effective operations and compliance with established standards and/or contracted goals & objectives Reviews and analyzes information and data concerning BPHC program, to determine effectiveness; makes recommendations for changes in procedures; provides technical assistance, training and advice to staff and others; responds to inquiries and maintains liaison with various external agencies to provide information concerning program Collaborates with various private, state, local and federal agencies, coalitions, NHC's and CBOs to exchange information and/or resolve problems, including help co-lead Safe Kids Boston coalition As a member of a multidisciplinary team, provides health education to clients, in schools and community based settings. Represents BPHC and program at meetings, health fairs and conferences Coordinates activities which may include: fiscal monitoring; grant writing; monitoring of funded programs or agencies to ensure compliance; report preparation and writing; assisting with developing and distributing communications, brochures and educational materials; and updating program website Contributes subject expertise to policy and program development May supervise employees Will work closely with the Bureau Administrator on program purchases and tracking payments Performs other duties as required This job description is based on the Program Coordinator series.
