Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Program Coordinator II. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, incumbent provides administrative support to the Senior Financial Aid Officer and alpha module. Will be in daily contact with not only students and parents, but other university departments as well as external agencies such as USDE , NJ HESAA . This position is responsible for and not limited to the following: Counsels students and their parents on application procedures, availability and eligibility for all sources of financial aid funding. Assists students in establishing eligibility by reconciling problems that concern or are handled by other university departments and or/external agencies. Serves as the main point of contact between the Office of Financial Aid and the front-end One Stop Service staff and provides support for all student-facing troubleshooting and customer service. Responsible for one or more financial aid programs. Serves as primary point of contact for all professional judgment submissions and processing. Other duties as assigned.
