About The Position

A Program Coordinator position is available at Garney Construction in North Kansas City . The Program Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and administration of learning and development programs. This role ensures program activities run efficiently, timelines are maintained, and stakeholders receive clear communication. The Program Coordinator collaborates with project leads, internal teams, and external partners to support program delivery, track progress, and maintain documentation and reporting standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coordinating programs, projects, or administrative initiatives preferred.
  • Experience supporting Learning and Development programs or training initiatives preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Planner, Asana, or Smartsheet preferred.
  • Experience working with data tracking, reporting, or dashboard tools preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Office-based with occasional regional travel.
  • No significant physical demands.
  • Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate logistics for program meetings, workshops, training sessions, and related events.
  • Track program milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare program environments and materials to support an effective learning experience for participants.
  • Prepare and distribute program communications including agendas, updates, and status reports.
  • Respond to program-related inquiries and provide timely information to stakeholders.
  • Moderate sessions when needed by managing pacing, group interaction, and program flow.
  • Collect, track, and maintain program data and performance metrics.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support program evaluation efforts by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support reporting and program transparency.
  • Manage program documentation including records, files, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Track program budgets, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Assist with procurement and coordination of program materials and resources.
  • Maintain organized program files, records, and databases.
