About The Position

Program Director, External Data Products Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Program Director, External Data Products is responsible for the strategic oversight, operational execution, and growth of a portfolio of external Pharma and Payer data feeds and services operating under a fee-for-service model. This role serves as the dedicated owner for all external Pharma and Payer data products, acting as the primary interface between third-party data aggregators, internal trade and operations partners, and execution teams. The Program Director ensures data integrity, contractual compliance, scalability, and prioritization across hundreds of daily data feeds while shaping the future roadmap for external data capabilities. The Program Director will work to maintain and grow current pharma data revenue generation portfolio supporting Bioplus as well as Paragon. How you will make an impact: Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end lifecycle of external Pharma and Payer data feeds and reporting services as a revenue-generating product portfolio. Manage and optimize a fee-for-service business model delivering ~$13M+ annually. Optimize data feed strategy post integration, roadmap, and future-state capabilities aligned to expanding drug access, payer network participation, and evolving market demand. External Partner & Vendor Management Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for third-party data aggregators and external data partners. Maintain strong partnerships to ensure continuity, data quality, contract adherence, and timely issue resolution. Support contract negotiations and ongoing performance management in collaboration with trade, legal, and procurement teams. Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment Partner closely with Trade, Operations, IT, and Pharmacy Systems teams to ensure all required data elements are accurately captured and transmitted within pharmacy systems. Coordinate alignment across internal stakeholders supporting hundreds of outbound data feeds daily. Act as a single point of accountability to translate contractual, operational, and business requirements into executable data solutions.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in external client-facing program management, project management, complex business processes, strategic and business planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with the healthcare/pharmacy ecosystem, including a strong understanding of the roles and differences among payers, specialty pharmacies, PBMs, and ambulatory care settings strongly preferred.
  • Prior specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy management software experience preferred.
  • Data acquisition and analytics skills, including basic SQL, a solid understanding of foundational data concepts, and exposure to data architecture (e.g., data models, pipelines, and data warehousing) preferred.
