Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a detox or behavioral health treatment program.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of management or program leadership experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Strong understanding of detoxification protocols, trauma-informed care, and hospital operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of a hospital-based Detox Program built on trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of nurses, case managers, and behavioral health staff focused on patient safety and stabilization.
  • Coordinate with medical and psychiatric providers to ensure individualized detoxification plans that meet ASAM 3.7 standards.
  • Drive program growth through strong community relationships, referral development, and exceptional quality of care.
  • Champion a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability throughout the program.
  • Monitor outcomes, lead quality-improvement efforts, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and state regulations.
