About The Position

The Program Launch Coordinator supports MP&L launch activities, ensuring new products, processes, and materials are introduced smoothly into production. This role coordinates with Production Team Members, Engineering, and Quality to prepare workstations, train employees, and maintain accuracy in material flow and documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience; 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist team members in solving work-related issues related to launch activities.
  • Assist with monitoring quality of product/processes, quality audits, maintaining quality system, and other items as needed during the launch process.
  • Reject defective parts, and document type of defect on part, container of parts, or inspection tag.
  • Train MP&L team members on new products and processes
  • Prepare workstations and update part labeling for launch.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet launch timelines.
  • Recommend improvements to material flow, containerization, and workstation layouts.
  • Write/update Standardized Work for Gamma and Production builds.
  • Participate in Launch Reviews, PFMEA workshops, and build events (travel required).
  • Perform secondary BOM checks and assist with PTR/ETR parts.
  • Serve as backup for mobile equipment operation and Team Lead duties.
