About The Position

We are looking for a high-impact strategic operator to serve as the Chief of Staff and Program Manager for the SaaS Security Engineering leadership team. In this hybrid capacity, you will act as a force multiplier for the Vice President. You will not only drive the "Rhythm of the Business" (RoB) and operational rigor but also lead critical cross-functional programs that span Engineering, Product Management, and Cloud Operations. You will translate executive vision into execution, ensuring the organization delivers on its promises to customers while maintaining a healthy, efficient operational cadence. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Organizational Alignment (The "Chief of Staff" Hat) Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor and proxy for the VP. Strategy to Execution: Facilitate the definition of annual strategic goals, OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), and long term planning. Translate these high-level goals into actionable roadmaps for the wider organization. Rhythm of Business (RoB): Own the operational cadence, including Weekly Staff Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and All-Hands. Ensure meetings are decision-centric, not just status updates. Communications: Draft executive communications (internal emails, board decks, customer presentations) to ensure consistent messaging across the organization. 2. Program Delivery & Operational Excellence (The "Program Manager" Hat) Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead complex, multi-pillar programs (e.g., GenAI integration across SaaS Security) that require alignment between Engineering, UX, OPs, and Release Management. Release Management: Partner with the Release Management team to ensure seamless delivery of quarterly updates, identifying risks and dependencies early in the cycle. Resource & Budget Optimization: Collaborate with Finance and HR to manage headcount planning, budget allocation, and cloud resource consumption, ensuring we are scaling efficiently. Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and implement lightweight processes to increase velocity without adding bureaucracy. Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven: Proficiency in using data (Jira, Excel/Analytics) to drive decision-making. You don't just report the news, you analyze the root cause.
  • Influence Without Authority: Ability to drive alignment across peer VPs and Directors who do not report to you.
  • Structured Thinking: You can take a vague problem ("We need to improve our cloud margin") and break it down into a concrete project plan with clear owners and timelines.
  • Discretion: High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive information (personnel, strategy pivots) with absolute confidentiality.
