About The Position

Based at the customer site, the Program Manager – Area Support serves as the connective tissue between complex warehouse operations and executive-level decision-making. This role goes beyond reporting metrics. It is responsible for translating high-volume, operational data into clear narratives that explain not just what is happening, but why it matters and what should happen next. The Program Manager maintains end-to-end visibility across multiple workstreams, ensuring accurate data, aligned communication, and disciplined execution across cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment, operational fluency, and the ability to influence leaders through clarity, context, and trust.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience, with a proven track record managing execution and communication across diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to curate compelling, executive-level narratives from complex and unstructured datasets.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes, and distill insights into actionable summaries.
  • Logistics & Operations Knowledge: Working understanding of supply chain flows, warehouse operations, carrier performance metrics, and drivers of transit variability.
  • Communication: Comfortable presenting findings to regional and executive leadership,and collaborating across time zones and cultures.
  • Data Proficiency: Advanced experience with Google Sheets, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, with working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage data visualization to support business narratives.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.

  • PMP (PMI), PRINCE2, or Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Storytelling & Senior Leadership Reporting: Synthesize daily, weekly, and monthly operational data into executive-ready reporting, narratives, and presentations. Translate raw datasets into clear insights that highlight performance trends, risks, root causes, and strategic recommendations. Support Monthly Operations Reviews and ongoing leadership updates with validated, consistent metrics and commentary.
  • Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary communication hub across multiple working groups, warehouses, data centers, and regional stakeholders. Own the cadence, accuracy, and clarity of project and performance communications to ensure alignment across teams, time zones, and leadership levels. Partner closely with Area Leadership, Google stakeholders, and internal EI teams to provide context, alignment, and decision support.
  • Advanced Program & Project Management: Lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives with clear accountability, milestone tracking, and follow-through. Drive execution of the Global OTIF improvement plan toward the 95 percent target by managing dependencies, risks, and escalation paths. Provide cross-functional project support, including the development of project plans, presentations, and documentation for Area Leadership.
  • Deep-Dive Analysis & Root Cause Identification: Conduct granular analysis of performance drivers, reason codes, and operational exceptions impacting results. Execute impact analyses to quantify project outcomes and identify efficiency opportunities. Translate findings into data-backed business cases that support process improvements and operational changes.
  • Operational Visibility & Data Integrity: Produce daily operational snapshots and exception reporting, including missing or pending reason codes. Compile, analyze, and validate metrics such as Kitting OTD, Rack counts, Machine counts, and material flow data. Maintain end-to-end tracking and visibility for material orders, ensuring data accuracy for executive-level decision-making.
  • Documentation, Research & Continuous Improvement Develop and maintain operational documentation, including forms, SWIs, and SOPs, to support scalable execution. Conduct in-depth research on shipping discrepancies and material flow issues, presenting findings to relevant Warehouses and Data Centers. Identify recurring patterns and systemic gaps,and recommend process or tooling improvements.
