About The Position

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a mid-career Program/Project Manager to join our Beavercreek, OH team. The position provides an opportunity to join an elite team and enhance the performance and profitability of an organization whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, with little guidance, operating within their supervisor’s intent. This person will be responsible for leading program/project execution, working closely with engineering teams and customers to align schedule, budgets, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing projects in a government contracting environment, with Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and meeting program compliance expectations that come with federal work.
  • Comfortable with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, or similar platforms for tracking tasks, schedules, resource allocation, and experience in cost estimation and proposals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role involves regular interaction with both technical staff and government customers.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire. Candidates selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a small business or lean team environment is highly valued. Someone who thrives wearing multiple hats, can self-direct, and is comfortable building or improving processes rather than just following existing ones.
  • Familiarity with how small engineering firms operate (tight margins, flexible roles, direct customer relationships) will set a candidate apart.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in the management of EO/IR type projects.
  • Prior experience in defense or DoD-adjacent contracts is helpful.
  • Exposure to technical domains such as sensor systems, data analysis, or scientific R&D is a bonus for understanding project context, though deep technical knowledge is not expected.

Responsibilities

  • Track billable hours and labor allocations across multiple concurrent projects
  • Coordinate travel schedules and logistics for field work
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables against contract timelines
  • Interface with government clients on scheduling and status reporting
  • Manage subcontractor coordination as needed.
