About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager, Supply Chain works in close collaboration with multiple disciplines to support requirements related to supply chain, procurement, supplier oversight, manufacturing, and interface management across NuScale. As part of the Supply Chain department, this position directly supports and manages the development, maintenance, and implementation of Supply Chain programmatic tools including procedures, policies, instructions, tools, and systems.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field of study.
  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time working experience in the Supply Chain field within the nuclear industry is required.
  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers.
  • Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend and understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • The employee frequently is required; to sit and stand; walk; bend, use hands to operate office equipment; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift ten to fifteen pounds.
  • Ability to travel nationally, locally, and internationally using common forms of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides ownership and performs the management of assigned Supply Chain processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Provides tactical direction and guidance to internal resources, cross-functional teams, and NuScale management for complex issues.
  • Manages the Supply Chain program at NuScale, ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Oversee and provide strategic direction on Supply Chain processes, procedures, and internal guidance ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Supply Chain strategies, commitments, and goals.
  • Work closely with interfacing departments to implement tailored and focused best practices and processes that reduce commercial and technical risk and complexity.
  • Implements operational experience, industry best practices, and internal lessons learned into the Supply Chain program.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Supply Chain department to communicate with and educate other departments on Supply Chain programs, tools, and initiatives.
  • Develops and implements Supply Chain tools and systems that support efficient and effective process flows.
  • Supports companywide initiatives on behalf of Supply Chain.
  • Train and mentor new or less experienced Supply Chain personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
