The Center for Experimental & Applied Economics (CEAE) was established in 2014 and serves as the research hub for experimental economics at the University of Delaware. Affiliated researchers include faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Depending on the semester, there are typically 25-30 researchers and research assistants actively engaging with CEAE. CEAE’s mission is to “Nurture a diverse and inclusive community engaged in innovative, evidence-based research and dissemination of results to inform policy and promote sustainability at the nexus of agriculture and the environment.” The Mentoring Network Program and the Applied Economics and Experimental Research (APEX) Internship are two key programs designed to support experiential learning and professional development. The Program Manager, under the general direction of the CEAE Director, manages development activities, communications, and student engagement programs, ensuring alignment with CEAE’s mission and long-term growth. The Program Manager plays a central role in advancing development initiatives and external funding opportunities, expanding the visibility of CEAE and its affiliated researchers, and shaping the student experience. The Program Manager works closely with other CEAE staff and affiliated researchers and is required to manage multiple programs and initiatives.
