Organization: MVA Community Engagement/Educa Job Summary: The Program Manager supports both internal and external engagement efforts, serving as a key liaison. The role oversees event planning and coordination, annual community events, and other collaborative initiatives throughout the year. Responsibilities include managing communications, preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting hosting or co-hosting activities. The Program Manager also tracks program metrics and impact, maintains data and databases, and manages basic program budgets. This role requires a balance of strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently while supporting meaningful, community-centered programming. Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST, with occasional weekend requirements . Requirements

  • Data and database management
  • Intermediate program management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Canva proficiency
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner
  • Intermediate-level REDCap experience
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Program Management (Intermediate): Planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.
  • Financial Processes (Intermediate): Ability to monitor costs, expenses and revenue as well as the ability to manage those costs and expenses in relation to budgeted amounts.
  • Process Improvement (Intermediate): Identifies, analyzes and improves upon existing business processes for optimization and to meet standards of quality.
  • Peer Leadership (Intermediate): The ability to show leadership and influence people of equal rank in an effort to accomplish team goals.
  • Networking (Intermediate): Build relationships through industry contacts, professional organizations and individuals.
  • Quality Management (Intermediate): Developing a systematic process of checking to see whether a process or service is meeting specific requirements.
