About The Position

The Program/Project Manager for Surface Training Systems Program office (PMS 339) requires the following professional and engineering services to support all strategic program planning, policy, research and development, acquisition, technical insertion and life-cycle management of surface training platforms to educate and ensure the competency of U.S. Navy Sailors through delivery of aligned, consistent and proven training solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any Discipline or 15 Years of Relevant Experience
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Navy Training Systems experience

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Degree in a business or technical field and/or experience in Navy Training Systems discipline
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Navy Surface Combatant Ship experience and/or Navy Training Systems experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate established programs and procedures for new construction and modernization efforts.
• Provide direct support to PMS 339 concerning the upkeep and development of the classroom and laboratories concerning the Zumwalt training facility.
• Consult with team to create and review training programs.
• Provide guidance to external agency SMEs in training program design and development.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and equipment, make continuous improvements as necessary.
