About The Position

This role manages the development and maintenance of integrated, resource-loaded program schedules with a strong focus on Earned Value analysis and schedule performance. The position supports the standardization of planning and scheduling processes by helping define common tools, formats, and reporting methods for enterprise-wide resource management. The individual partners closely with program teams to integrate inputs across functions such as finance, engineering, manufacturing, materials, and quality into a cohesive IMS. Responsibilities include schedule and risk analysis, critical path and network logic assessment, and identification of performance variances using industry standard project controls techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Microsoft Project (working knowledge of scheduling and project management principles)
  • Experience supporting integrated master schedules, project controls, or Earned Value Management in a program environment
  • EVMS, PMP, or scheduling related certifications are considered a plus
  • Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules and supporting schedules for complex programs or projects
  • Experience preparing and presenting IMS driven reports, briefings, and deliverables that communicate schedule risk and status to program and senior leadership
  • Knowledge of project management practices within a planning and scheduling or program controls environment
  • Working knowledge of EVMS and related guidance including PASEG (latest version), EIA-748, IPPD, and IPMR reporting

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMP IMS) using SOW, WBS, and Agile or traditional planning approaches, ensuring alignment across all program phases
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, and schedule metrics analysis (BEI, CEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.) to assess performance, identify variances, and resolve network logic issues
  • Integrate program schedules across functional organizations including finance, engineering, manufacturing, materials, and quality, supporting enterprise-wide resource visibility
  • Drive IMS readiness and team engagement for customer IBRs, internal reviews, and senior leadership briefings, including leading schedule status reviews
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, EVMS requirements, and project control system guidelines, including DECM related metrics
  • Utilize scheduling and analysis tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Gantt charts, PERT, milestone charts, and Earned Value techniques to support decision making
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to schedulers and program team members while contributing to process and system improvements
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the organization, including customers and external stakeholders, to gain alignment on schedules, processes, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and DECM metrics as well as support or lead regular schedule status reviews
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
  • Travel up to 10 percent as required to support program and customer need
