About The Position

MTSI is seeking a self-motivated security specialist to provide day-to-day physical and program security supporting an AFLMC systems program office (SPO). The individual will manage programmatic security up to and including TS and special access programs (SAP). The individual will ensure statutory and regulatory compliance to ensure secure management of documents, communications, facilities, and personnel. The individual will ensure continued secure operations of SPO activities that support mission execution of developing and fielding cutting edge weapons system and technologies. How you will contribute to our National Security and Defense mission: Provide physical and programmatic security support to and AFLCMC weapon system program office. Ensure secure operations and progress in weapons system development and fielding are maintained and successful. Requirements

  • 2 years' experience working in Special Access Program and/or physical security with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years’ experience with an associate’s degree or 7 years’ experience with a high school diploma or GED
  • Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility)

Responsibilities

  • Provide security support in accordance with applicable DoD and Air Force policies, directives, and regulations, including but not limited to DoDI 5200.01, DoDI 5200.02, DoDI 5220.22, AFI 16-1404, AFI 31-401, and related supplements and guidance.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a Program Security Classification Guide (SCG) and ensure its periodic review and updates in accordance with applicable directives. The PSCG shall accurately reflect the classification levels and guidance for all program information.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Program Protection Plan (PPP) that integrates all security disciplines (e.g., information, personnel, physical, industrial, communications, and cybersecurity) to protect critical program information (CPI) and critical program assets (CPA) throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to program assets and information and develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce risk to acceptable levels.
  • Establish and maintain a security education, training, and awareness (SETA) program for all personnel supporting the program, ensuring they are knowledgeable of their security responsibilities and procedures.
  • Participate in program reviews, technical interchange meetings, and other program events to provide security expertise and guidance.
  • Maintain a repository of all program security documentation, including plans, procedures, assessments, and training records.
  • Support the development and execution of security-related exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of security controls and procedures.
