About The Position

CSET's Sequoia Community Corps is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide clerical support for the Case Management Team. The right candidate will be able to work in a high-functioning environment with multiple programs. This individual will have experience in data entry, Microsoft Office, filing, office equipment, and will be a team player with a can-do attitude. Strong communication, writing, time management, comprehension, and ability to work with little to no supervision is a must. Experience in maintaining inventory is desired. Clean DMV and ability to be added to our vehicle insurance is required. SCOPE OF WORK: This position is responsible for providing clerical support to the Back2Work case management team. The incumbent of this position will be an independant person willing to work in a high-functioning environment with the ability to adapt frequently throughout the day. Ability to drive company vehicles is required.

  • Must be able to sit, walk and stand for long periods
  • Must have the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens).
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and reach
  • Must be able to exert physical effort in light to moderate work involving lifting, carrying, pushing,and pulling at least 50lbs
  • Must be able to read, understand, and explain various forms and written material

Responsibilities

  • Maintain attendance records for all worksites
  • Verify sign-in sheet counts
  • Prepare and distribute monthly safety calendar
  • Prepare program paperwork packets
  • Update job board with new leads weekly
  • Maintain safety gear and uniform inventory count
  • Weekly sanitation of all commonly used work areas
  • Clerical support for all program staff including making copies, filing, recordkeeping, etc.
  • Distribution of uniforms
  • Support staff during marketing, presentations, enrollments, etc. (E.g. Making copies of I9 documents during enrollments or assisting with set up/break down of orientation and safety presentations)
  • Be a liaison between participants and staff
  • Organize commonly used work areas
  • Responsible for the safe use of any and all tools assigned to this position as well as the care and maintenance of all SCC-CSET tools and equipment
  • Adhere to SCC discipline procedures and adherence to program goals and mission
  • Help create positive crew morale and build teamwork by working alongside the leadership team
  • Learn to complete all forms associated with accurate documentation of work performed
  • May include: community service at community events, community outreach, and community education regarding environmental issues. The position will NOT include fundraising, political action, and/or advocacy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
