About The Position

Provides programmatic administrative support to the Program, as assigned. Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to: manage front desk area, answer phones, take messages and relay information as needed; file, copy, manage/distribute supplies and various forms of communications with families.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of, and highly skilled in the use of computers, including MS Office, Internet/email, database software.
  • Professional telephone etiquette

Responsibilities

  • Provides confidential administrative support to the Program
  • Work as part of the Program’s administrative team, in collaboration with Family Partner(s), Assistant Director, and Program Director.
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Actively involved in supporting and promoting Nurtury in the community.
  • Assist in signing classrooms in and out of the building
  • Conduct playground safety check and assist in set up for meetings
  • Filing/coping, managing office and classroom supplies
  • Work with Program Director to maintain and build enrollment and facilitate communications with parents – foster parent involvement.
  • Prepare administrative and statistical reports as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining Minute Menu and other data entry as assigned by Program Director
  • Assist in updating children’s records, to include attendance, health and related authorizations, permissions, etc.
  • Provide coverage in classrooms as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required
