About The Position

The Programmatic Accreditation Coordinator provides direct support in the coordination, review, and preparation of academic quality assurance, accreditation, and outcomes assessment activities across academic programs. This role focuses on organizing information, conducting preliminary reviews, synthesizing data, and preparing draft materials to support institutional and programmatic compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. This position functions as a support and coordination role, providing research, analysis, documentation, and drafting assistance that enables senior leadership to maintain institutional oversight, ensure compliance, and advance academic quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a master's degree
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education, academic assessment, accreditation support, compliance, or a related administrative or analyst role
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Responsibilities

  • Support the compilation, organization, and preliminary review of accreditation materials, including self-studies, interim reports, and formal responses.
  • Track accreditation requirements, timelines, and documentation to support timely and accurate submissions.
  • Assist in the review and synthesis of student learning outcomes and program outcomes data to support evaluation of overall program effectiveness.
  • Support the development and updating of curriculum maps and assessment plans under the direction of senior academic leadership.
  • Compile assessment results and supporting documentation for internal review and accreditation reporting.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of academic program materials (e.g., syllabi, audit sheets, student handbooks, manuals, catalogs, and web content) to identify inconsistencies, errors, or misalignment with institutional policies and accreditation expectations.
  • Flag discrepancies and prepare summaries or recommendations for senior academic leadership review.
  • Compile academic performance and outcomes data to identify trends, gaps, and areas requiring further review.
  • Maintain organized records of data sources, revisions, and reporting artifacts.
  • Assist in documenting action plans, follow-up activities, and outcomes related to accreditation findings and internal reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking progress and maintaining supporting evidence.
