About The Position

The programming coordinator will contribute to the success of the programming team by acting as a support role for the whole department, specifically the programming manager. This position will assist with the following items, daily system checks and maintenance, wellness/fitness offerings, clearing and maintaining of the courts, scheduling bike maintenance, inventory logs monthly, working closely with marketing on programming aspects, assisting the art program manager with pottery shipping needs, contributing to and holding programming pow wows, hosting and helping manage and develop in-house events/activities, assisting the oyster farmer in the daily oyster farm operations (if needed).

Requirements

  • Experience facilitating guest experience in a luxury hospitality setting, communication with large groups of people, inventory organization, wellness/fitness offerings
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Above average computer skills, customer service skills, multitasking skills, leadership skills, planning, note-taking
  • Education – high school degree required, advanced education preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License and Acceptable Driving Record.

Responsibilities

  • Regular and Reliable Attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (may be driving golf carts)
  • Interest in hosting wellness activities/fitness programming
  • Ability to work outdoors for 5-6 hours daily
  • Ability to switch gears on tasks quickly
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve quickly, as well as planning in advance
  • Ability to attend and contribute to programming pow wows biweekly, as well as note taking during bi-weekly meetings
  • Guest experience is an essential part of this position
  • Ability to have professional conversations with guests and other employees
  • Ability to work in an outdoor location; t-heads, moving vessels, vegetable farm, programming red barn, marina, croquet lawn, fish hawk beach, par 3, tennis/pickleball courts
  • Ability to work in large groups, or crowds
  • Ability to potentially work with small groups of children (no more than 4)
  • Basic computer skills such as Canva, Word or Excel.
  • Budget knowledge and management skills
  • Ability to teach wellness/fitness/stretch classes 4 times a week
  • Ability to work across the guest services department for optimal guest experience
  • Other duties as assigned
