About The Position

The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. Interns gain access to: Meaningful in-person work experience in the arts and culture sector Professional development workshops focused on career readiness A vibrant community of peers and program alumni A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center Access to special events that reflect Lincoln Center’s mission as the world’s leading performing arts center

Requirements

  • A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
  • Available to work 35hours per week from June–August 2026, including evenings and weekends
  • Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
  • A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
  • Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
  • Exemplify teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm

Responsibilities

  • Support the Programming team on live events as part of our Summer for the City season
  • Assist the Festival team with artist and internal communications
  • Help manage hospitality stock and run day-of-show errands with Artist Services Managers and Line Producers
  • Perform administrative tasks such as organizing storage spaces, updating digital workspaces (e.g.,ArtsVision, Monday.com), and assembling artist-facing welcome packets
  • Provide support in budgeting, contracting & offer letters creation
  • Support the season planning process through calendar maintenance
