About The Position

Cranford Construction is looking for a Project Administrator to provide essential administrative and operational support to Project Managers and act as a liaison between Cranford Construction and the financial team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in construction management is a plus.
Minimum two (2) years in construction office setting preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
Possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
Passionate, self-motivated, and dedicated to high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

associate or bachelor's degree in construction management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assists Project Managers in their daily activities including preparing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation.
Track and manage project expenditures and assist in budget monitoring.
Assists in the preparation of the final project records and archival of project files.
Prepares Paid vs Laid analyses in conjunction with ARDOT estimates as well as at the conclusion of projects.
Performs job setup duties for new projects.
Assists with accounts payable processing and receivable collection.
Aids estimating team as needed including potential bid opportunities and preparation.
Prepares and distributes project-related documents and reports, including the Daily Sales report, Backlog report, and the weekly haul summaries.
Processes subcontractor payments as appropriate.
Coordinates the submission of quarterly ARDOT Supply Contract bids with the General Manager.
Assists Office Administrator with administrative duties, as necessary.
Liaises with financial team to ensure all transactions are forecast and recorded correctly.
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
