Peraton is seeking a Project Control Analyst to support program and project leadership in managing planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and performance measurement across high-visibility initiatives aligned with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position offers the opportunity to work at the center of complex aviation programs where effective program control directly contributes to mission success. Work Location: This position is 100% on-site , primarily located in Herndon, VA, with an alternate work location available in Bowie, MD. Candidates must be able to work on-site at one of these locations based on program requirements. Your Impact: In this role, you will help translate program objectives into actionable plans and measurable results. You will document project plans, track performance against those plans, and deliver data-driven insights that help leadership maintain schedule, cost, and operational alignment. The BNATCS program represents one of the most ambitious aviation modernization initiatives in decades. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or Master's degree and 3 years experience or Associate’s degree and 7 years experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years experience.
  • Experience supporting program or project controls within complex environments.
  • Experience working with project schedules, planning tools, or program performance metrics.
  • Experience preparing reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Experience supporting cost tracking, budgeting, or financial performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting FAA programs or National Airspace System (NAS) environments.
  • Familiarity with NextGen or BNATCS modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with aviation or transportation infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting federal program management or large-scale government contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules and program plans.
  • Document planning inputs from program and project leadership to establish baseline schedules.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across program workstreams.
  • Monitor schedule performance and identify potential delays or schedule risks.
  • Track and analyze program costs and resource utilization against approved budgets.
  • Support cost estimation activities and assist with financial forecasting.
  • Assist with cost control processes that ensure program performance remains aligned with funding expectations.
  • Monitor program changes, emerging trends, and performance deviations.
  • Track and analyze change requests, scope adjustments, and program impacts.
  • Support documentation and coordination of change management processes across workstreams.
  • Monitor program performance against approved plans and established baselines.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track schedule progress, cost performance, and operational metrics.
  • Provide leadership with clear, actionable performance insights.
  • Work closely with program managers, engineers, and functional teams to gather project data and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Facilitate coordination across teams to maintain alignment with program goals and milestones.
