Work Location: Springfield, VA Work Schedule: Requires five (5) days onsite at the customer's facility Position Overview: ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a detail-driven Project Coordinator. This role is primarily responsible for project coordination, task tracking, and timeline management, ensuring deliverables are met and stakeholders remain accountable. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, drives task completion, and supports smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to keep projects on track and aligned with goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project/task management tools such as Kanban boards, Trello, Jira, Microsoft DevOps Server
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven experience in gathering requirements, documenting business needs, and creating process maps or workflow documentation
  • Confident in holding team members accountable and following up to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies
  • Experience working within application development team
  • Federal government or contracting experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, action items, and task lists to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Track progress across multiple workstreams, proactively following up on outstanding tasks and dependencies
  • Gather, document, and clarify business requirements from stakeholders to support effective planning and execution
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and checklists to drive consistency and transparency
  • Manage and update Kanban boards (or similar project management tools) to ensure visibility of priorities, timelines, and blockers
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials such as agendas and follow-up documentation
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth handoffs, resolve issues, and keep activities aligned with deadlines
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies
