Job Summary This position will work with the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, a Fulbright exchange, enhances leadership and ties with the United States among influential midcareer government officials and other emerging leaders from priority countries through academic study and professional experience in the United States, advancing U.S. foreign policy interests. The Project Coordinator supports the Humphrey Fellowship program by performing high-level administrative, coordination, and operational work across multiple program areas under the guidance of senior team members. The position performs work that requires applying standard policies and procedures and implementing strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Requires an associate's degree and at least two (2) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good organization skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of alumni outreach and events abroad.
  • Helps draft, edit, and proofread regular and one-off program performance reports, meeting notes. and other written materials/documents.
  • Assists in the migration, update, and regular maintenance of alumni and participant records. Duties may include creating reports for external and internal use, updating financial records for participants or alumni, disseminating participants' or alumni's data to team members or sponsors upon request, and researching to fill gaps in the program’s alumni records.
  • Provide support to in-person and virtual events for participants, which can include but are not limited to scheduling, preparing event materials, technical support with Zoom webinar, researching speakers, interfacing with vendors, and assisting with day of logistic as assigned.
  • Provide research and programmatic support as necessary to the short-term Distinguished Humphrey Fellowship Program.
  • Daily review of the main program email account.
  • May support other internal projects or tasks as needed.
