Frontwave Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to provide cross-functional and departmental project and process support with a focus on productivity and solutions. This role serves as a key facilitator for Agile project execution, process improvement initiatives, and departmental tactical planning while maintaining project visibility through comprehensive documentation and continuous improvement practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, project management or process improvement preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint planning processes preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate training sessions
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities using structured methodologies
  • Collaborative approach with ability to work effectively across departments
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and change management
  • Possess the skills to work with Windows Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Project Management

Responsibilities

  • Support scheduling and planning of Agile Sprints including Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning sessions.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and integrations to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Assist in sprint preparation and resource allocation planning
  • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders across all project phases.
  • Document and distribute meeting minutes and action items with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Track sprint tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria throughout sprint cycles.
  • Maintain visual Project Management by assisting PM with preparing sprint reports, dashboards and presentations.
  • Help PM maintain support of TDX and SharePoint platforms for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and knowledge repositories.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
  • Oversee Departmental Internal Projects (Tactical Plans) using Kanban methodology for planning and execution.
  • Track productivity of departmental and internal projects using Scrumban framework.
  • Support department-specific project initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and timeline management for internal initiatives.
  • Help organize PM Training sessions and facilitate stakeholder lessons learned sessions (retrospectives).
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives and best practice documentation.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members on project management processes and tools.
  • Support implementation of lean methodologies across departmental processes.
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities in current workflows.
  • Track improvement suggestions and kaizen initiatives focusing on Process Improvement, Non-Value-Added (NVA) reduction, and Cost Savings.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement through kaizen events and A3 problem-solving methodology.
  • Monitor process performance metrics and report on improvement outcomes.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
