About The Position

The Collins Aerospace Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a Project Cost Analyst to join our team. The candidate will work in COBRA and SAP to manage and report project financials. Ideally, the candidate will also help solve problems and drive process improvements. This position requires technical financial and accounting skills, along with the ability to understand capital and expense guidelines. The position also requires the ability to understand how Collins Aerospace finance policies apply to current business situations. This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico What YOU will do: Networks with project managers and Digital Technology Service Owners / Leaders. Good understanding of project cost management (ETC & EAC), system tool usage, such as SAP, and Microsoft products. Perform analysis of the project cost estimates and assumptions utilized in preparing the estimates. Identify capital vs expense items for projects and prepare a capital authorization request when needed. Create project investment summaries and assist project managers with variance analysis. Work with DT finance and Collins business units to obtain actuals for projects. Function as a professional with knowledge of industry practices and how to apply principles, concepts, and standards to resolve a range of issues. Plans own activities in accomplishing objectives under general supervision. Takes personal initiative and a proactive approach to work. Ensures information transmitted is received and accurately understood by others. Is customer service orientated - provides peer with quality experiences, establishing and maintaining effective relationships. Is dependable and detail oriented - accepts responsibility for errors made and develops a plan to prevent similar errors from recurring. Uses various software packages to prepare and review documents and records.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Experience with SAP.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with COBRA.
