About The Position

As a Product Engineer, you will lead the technical development and integration of complex automotive systems. You are the primary point of contact for the design, validation, and manufacturing feasibility of components, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards for both traditional and electrified vehicle platforms.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related technical field).
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in automotive product engineering or design, with a proven track record of managing projects with OEMs or Tier 1/2 suppliers.
  • Domain Expertise: Specialized knowledge in driveline systems, axles, or powertrain components, with specific exposure to electrified vehicle applications (BEV/HEV/PHEV).
  • Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of vehicle functions and how individual components interact within the total vehicle architecture.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English skills (minimum 90% proficiency in reading and writing) for global technical collaboration.
  • Tool Fluency: Expert-level familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD or PLM software is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • System Development: Lead the engineering lifecycle of engine, transmission, driveline, or axle systems, including specialized applications for BEV, HEV, and PHEV architectures.
  • Design & Validation Oversight: Manage product engineering projects from concept to SOP (Start of Production), coordinating with OEM and Tier 1/2 suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Apply a thorough understanding of general vehicle architecture to ensure seamless mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic integration.
  • Quality & Manufacturing Alignment: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production (DFM) and adhere to standard automotive quality processes (APQP, PPAP).
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain high-level technical specifications, design changes, and project tracking using Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
