About The Position

Sierra Lobo offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics desired (from an ABET accredited college or university, or equivalent). Candidates with highly relevant experience will be considered without degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Experience as supervisor and/or lead in an engineering environment desired.
• Naturally analytical person capable of working in both a team and solo environment.
• Knowledge of MS Office software required.
• Comfortable with multi-tasking, seeking solutions independently and strong organizational skills necessary.
• Direct experience as expeditor, procurement agent, materials manager, scheduler and/or other related project support positions desired.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all applicable Company, Customer and Industry safety standards and practices.
• Support various team elements common in standard aerospace and/or facility projects including purchasing/procurement, fabrication, shipping/receiving, design and test engineering, project management and scheduling.
• Organize and lead multiple tasks with various project leads/management to ensure schedule is maintained.
• Interface with project leads/management to support integrated master schedule task status updates.
