Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field.
Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience
Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering
Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, or others
Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues
Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems
Ability to mentor less experienced staff

Professional Engineering License Required.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract. This includes observing construction, reviewing and signing documents, and communicating with MSA staff, contractors, and clients.
Communicates professionally with clients, contractors and builds ongoing business relationships
Perform engineering calculations for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.
Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM, for project analysis, study, and design.
Assist in creating cost estimates for projects.
Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design.
Conduct field investigations or inspections ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.
