We’re looking for someone like you, with project management knowledge, and excellent engineering technical skills, to support F-135 Repairs and Service Limits. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What You Will Do: Support the F135 organization as well as other fuel pump customer funded work to develop repair procedures and advance service limits. Focus on the supporting the IPT Lead in performing Repair development and Pump service limit development. Repair development, including - Preliminary design and identification of repair requirements (review of drawings, determination if industry standards or previous work exists, etc.). Performing and documenting cost justification for customer and governmental approval. Engaging all stakeholders – including but not limited to Sustaining Engineering, Ground Support Engineering, Program Management, Flight Safety, etc. Pump service limit development. Update and expand service limit documentation to align with current standards. This will include compiling data from the original published service limits, repair history, and packages from other Collins designed products into new packages that will represent all-inclusive service limits packages for each F135 pump. This will entail working in a cross-functional group, obtaining input from Subject Matter Experts, as well as developing limits based on OEM design requirements. Hold meetings, maintain a running action item list, and provide weekly status to engineering team and program office. Create presentations together and presenting to the Collins Safety Board. Create Engineering Authorizing (EA) documents and Technical Substantiation Documents (TSDs). Hold customer Gate Reviews. Coordinate and lead the approval of repair procedures.
