About The Position

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer III (LACCD 500) for our contract with Los Angeles Community College District. We are accepting applications for this position through 2/10 @ 9am Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required. This is an on-site, long term job. You must be located in Southern California. NO relocation funds, and NO per diem. Location: PMO (Monterey Park, CA) Number of positions: 1 Type: Direct Hire Salary Range: $126K - $141K

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a similar role or position in construction.
• BS/BA Degree in construction, engineering, or architecture.
• Four years of additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum years stated above may be substituted for the required education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and SharePoint.
• Experience using BlueBeam and Adobe software for document reviews/mark-ups.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.
• Effectively manage daily work effort.
• Good communication skills verbal and writing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Change Orders and Supporting Documentation.
• Previous experience with educational projects.
• Experience working on a large client program
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Prolog, Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder), Proliance or other PMIS systems.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat sign (formerly Adobe E-Sign).
