This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in specialty subcontracting, support project managers and learn how to deliver projects with quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Construction Management, Engineering, or other related field program
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Eager to learn and apply project management principles in real-world settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management software is a plus
  • No prior experience required, this is an entry-level, learning-focused opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Contract document management: including, but not limited to updating contract drawings and specifications, RFI and change management (i.e., ASIs, Bulletins, RFQs) and submittals
  • Scanning and uploading documents and emails onto OnBase
  • Soliciting quotes from Suppliers, Vendors and Subcontractors
  • Management of job specific subcontractor related documents as applicable
  • Creating submittals packages; including, but not limited to creating cover sheets, obtaining product data, maintenance information, SDS sheets, LEED letters, and shop drawings
  • Assisting with forecasting / cost analysis
  • Research and cost analysis of new products and manufacturers
  • Producing cost breakdowns / color coded drawings
  • Assisting with change order takeoff / pricing
  • Drafting and submitting RFI’s
  • Assisting with QA process
  • Assisting with job close-out process
  • Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars
  • Attend and participate in all required company training programs
  • Conform to all company policies and procedures
  • Intentionally lives out the company's mission, purpose, and values
