Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering required
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Caesar pipe stress, Pipeflow hydraulic software, AutoCAD Plant 3D) as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
  • Experience with engineered equipment and process solutions, practical in-plant/hands-on field engineering and management, and FEL project life cycle through construction for process piping projects are desired.
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced engineering judgment to complete complex designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for manufacturing and high ‑ tech facility projects
  • Develop process, mechanical, electrical, or utility system designs that support production efficiency, reliability, and environmental control within advanced manufacturing environments
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed engineering phases with cross ‑ disciplinary teams—including mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and process engineering
  • Support project execution by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring performance aligns with client expectations and production requirements
  • Deliver technically sound solutions within budget and schedule constraints, supporting optimized facility operations and long ‑ term system performance
  • Provide guidance, technical mentorship, and design review for junior engineering staff
  • Participate in feasibility studies, system evaluations, commissioning support, and operational assessments
