Support grade verification and measurement tasks, including pit measurements and field quantity checks as directed. Layout and stake project elements as required (grades, signs, fences, striping, curb, paving, and utilities). Use AutoCAD or similar tools to create sketches, details, and field exhibits to support construction and changed conditions. Understand and apply company phase codes / cost codes; assist with timekeeping review and verify that quantity and time entries are coded correctly. Assist with job controls: budget awareness, forecasting support, and basic job-cost reporting as directed by the Project Manager. Support change management by assembling backup (quantities, photos, labor/equipment hours, delivery tickets, and field sketches) to assist with force-account documentation. Perform quantity takeoffs and material requirement calculations to support procurement, planning, and estimating needs. Compile productivity and historical cost data, as directed, to support future estimates and bids. Documentation, Coordination, and Communication Maintain organized project files (drawings, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, photos, delivery tickets, and field records) with clear version control. Prepare and distribute required documentation such as RFIs, submittals, daily reports, photo logs, quantity reports, sketches, status reports, and punch lists.
