Are you ready? As our part of the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment project management team, the candidate will be the Control Account Manager (CAM) for support equipment refurbishment projects. Additionally, this candidate will be the IPT lead for several LE Mechanical Refresh projects. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Project management experience or relevant experience (planning, finance, contracts, etc.)
  • Knowledge of program lifecycle and system integration and how early milestones may drive future costs
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Candidate must have the ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
  • This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work across a multidiscipline
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance to support this government contract

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Proposal, Basis of Estimate (BOE), and Negotiations experience
  • Previous Control Account Manager (CAM) or lead experience.
  • Experience with high level presentations and briefings (data analysis, forecasting/communicating sales)
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience
  • General technical knowledge of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and / or FBM Program
  • Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure
  • This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, interfacing with internal/external customers, and experience in project management (reporting technical and schedule status)
  • Candidate must have the ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules

Responsibilities

  • Effectively & proactive manage project performance.
  • Work with partnering organizations (Engineering, Supply Chain, Shipping/Receiving etc.) to ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the lifecycle
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans
  • Support proposal development for future contract years.
  • Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Senior Manager & the Functional Managers.
  • Perform all CAM duties for CLIN 10 SE Refurbishment scope, including VARs, DDMs, Baseline reviews, etc.
  • Present status to Navy Partners & Internal Stakeholders.
