About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Engineer - REMOTE. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for optimizing designs and ensuring the effectiveness of engineering projects that focus on the treatment of groundwater and drinking water. Working closely with a team of engineering professionals, you will engage with various stakeholders to guarantee high-quality system designs and support the project from conception through to completion. Your input will contribute significantly to our mission of protecting health and the environment through innovative solutions in water treatment. Accountabilities Review and collaborate with the design team on 3D models using Autodesk Inventor with a focus on design optimization. Prepare detailed submittals and operations & maintenance manuals for municipal water systems. Create and maintain detailed bills of materials (BOM's). Interact with consultants, contractors, operators, and clients on system design. Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing and sales to resolve design issues. Investigate and document product design changes and improvements. Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously. Continuously seek ways to enhance the design process and communication. Meet project timelines effectively. Promote sustainable practices and prioritize health and safety in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

Mechanical system design expertise, particularly in low pressure and hydraulic engineering.
Experience with CAD, including reviewing information in CAD format.
Ability to read and understand P&IDs and technical specifications.
Familiarity with municipal construction projects.
Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor.

Nice To Haves

Experience in preparing technical submittals and O&M manuals is a plus.
Support experience in manufacturing operations with accurate BOMs is a plus.
Background in the municipal water and wastewater markets is preferred.
Project Management software knowledge is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics – Business Central, is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
