More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, The Project Engineer will be a member of the Loveland Operations Team and will be responsible for identifying, managing, and supporting business critical projects for the Loveland facility such as: Capital Equipment Investments, Manufacturing Technology Upgrades. Depending on the nature of the project, this individual may own end-to-end project execution or may support the project as a team member.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of experience in operations or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Familiarity with multiple programming languages
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated change management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute projects in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve project management processes to ensure clear accountability and schedule attainment.
  • Support budgeting activity, accurate spend forecast and timely input to finance team concerning open projects.
  • Responsible for Capital Approval Request (CAR) creation and approval follow-up.
  • Facilitate on-time and on-budget project completion in line with enterprise priorities and KPI’s.
  • Responsible for scheduling, management, and communication with contractors and outside vendors associated with assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies and procedures.
