About The Position

Come join Team Atlantis! We are currently accepting applications for The Project Houseman identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Post caution signs. Contacts other departments directly for urgent repairs. Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested. Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.

Requirements

Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs without restrictions.
Organizational ability to be able to accomplish all task assigned.
To adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
Must be at least 21.
Must adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors

Responsibilities

Deep Clean carpets, walls, ceilings, drapery, furniture, etc in rooms, Corridors, elevators, motor lodge - help clean up overflows – and bio hazard situations.
Move furniture, supplies, equipment.
Work with the management team during remodel or upgrade projects.
May be required to cover shifts as a houseman.
Equipment use - Shampoo machine, rotary floor machine, steam machine, pallet jack, extractor.
Other assignments as assigned my management.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
