Sugar Hollow Solar is hiring a brand new Project Initiation Coordinator! This key role oversees the transition from contract execution to project kickoff, ensuring projects are complete, compliant, and operationally ready. This role supports contract and financing documentation, manages key systems and project records, and serves as the primary point of contact during the pre-installation phase to guide customers through next steps. By coordinating across sales and operations, streamlining workflows, and supporting the Director of Sales, the Coordinator helps drive efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless customer experience. Our ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, while also being a great communicator and is passionate about renewable energy!

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales operations, project coordination, construction administration or solar industry support
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid experience utilizing CRMs and other sales tools
  • Solid experience utilizing Google Workspace
  • Ability to interpret contracts and financing agreements
  • Problem-solving mindset with proactive follow-through
  • Familiarity with solar systems and components
  • Familiarity with permitting processes

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, business, renewable energy, construction management or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial solar a big plus

Responsibilities

  • Reviews all executed solar contracts for completeness accuracy confirms required documentation, and verifies system size, pricing, upgrades and financing terms confirming compliance with Sugar Hollow Solar policies and local/state solar regulations
  • Maintains organized digital project files
  • Ensures proper and appropriate documentation for loan approval confirmation and other financial documentation
  • Administers the solar leasing portal for Third Party Offering (TPO) pricing and documentation management
  • Coordinates change orders between the sales department and the customer
  • Ensures accurate and complete project packages for project kickoff
  • Serves as a main point of contact during the pre-installation phase, providing customers with updates on next steps and expected timelines, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to design and operations
  • Identifies bottlenecks in the sales-to-installation pipeline recommending workflow improvement to increase speed and accuracy
  • Acts as an administrative right-hand to the Director of Sales
