About The Position

Serves as Project Manager for various packaging Print Quality Management (PQM) programs. The purpose of this position is to provide daily support and overall management of the PQM process to meet the Client’s needs. As a key facilitator within the process, you will communicate with printers, product vendors, clients, and internal teams. Your primary responsibilities will be to respond to questions and effectively communicate PQM program rules, print specifications, website instructions and compliance requirements. This role will also include data processing and project tracking by utilizing our PQM system. Assist the PQM Program Manager in the creation of client facing reports. You will also be a resource when issues or questions arise related to the programs you manage. You will work independently but also work as part of a larger team where collaboration and team work are key to our effectiveness in servicing the business and delivering on our Client’s expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years project management and customer service experience
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to support and enhance client relationships
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Motivated, goal oriented self-starter
  • Comfortable working both independently and a within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently after initial training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the design, print or production art industry is a plus
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager in the packaging/print industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily PQM program management activities
  • Review incoming tasks and input data into PQM systems
  • Communicate program requirements
  • Manage daily correspondence and respond to program related questions
  • Data collection, processing and tracking
  • Prepare reports as requested
  • Attend meetings per request of the Client or PQM Program Manager
  • Participate in process improvement and cross training efforts
  • Communicate issues to Management
