About The Position

The Administrative Services Project Manager supports Freeman Health System’s enterprise administrative transformation initiatives by serving as an embedded project management, integration, and execution resource across multiple administrative and professional services domains. This role supports Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, Professional Services, and Legal functions, operating as part of enterprise implementation teams to ensure administrative initiatives are executed in alignment with organizational strategy, governance, and operational priorities. The position works alongside external consultants and internal stakeholders while remaining accountable to Freeman leadership for execution readiness, adoption, and sustained performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, transformation, project management, or consulting.
  • Experience supporting multiple, concurrent RCM initiatives in complex healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of hospital and physician revenue cycle operations.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an embedded project management resource across multiple administrative and professional services initiatives.
  • Support implementation teams for enterprise initiatives, acquisitions, system implementations, and operational changes impacting Finance, HR, Recruiting, Professional Services, and Legal functions.
  • Translate strategic, operational, and compliance-driven recommendations into executable implementation plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Validate assumptions and recommendations using Freeman data, policies, regulatory requirements, and operational realities.
  • Ensure initiatives align with enterprise governance, financial stewardship, workforce strategy, and risk management objectives.
  • Support future-state administrative workflows, service delivery models, and operating structures.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Recruiting, Legal, IT, and Professional Services leadership to support implementation readiness.
  • Identify execution risks, policy implications, change management considerations, and cross-functional dependencies; support mitigation planning.
  • Support go-live planning, operational transitions, and early stabilization following implementations.
  • Track baseline performance, improvement targets, and initiative-level KPIs related to financial performance, workforce metrics, service delivery, and compliance.
  • Maintain dashboards, workplans, and executive reporting for administrative transformation initiatives.
  • Act as a coordination point between administrative leaders, consultants, and enterprise operational teams.
  • Prepare executive and governance updates, decision-support materials, and implementation status reporting.
